Today I read an article featured in a BC Real Estate Association publication about addressing the issue of affordable housing here in BC. They have been having regular consultations with government bodies and are hoping that some of these issues will be addressed in the budget of 2011. It makes for very interesting reading as it highlights the very expensive taxes applied to property purchases and the effect it is having on the average consumer.
