Movin on out, Movin on in!

Well the great move has happened.

Paul and I are now in our new home at SFU on Burnaby Mountain. And I have to say that it was no where near as stressful or exhausting as I thought it was going to be. It really helps to be well organised in advance, have a storage locker and hire a great moving company.

We used Raincity Moving, a Vancouver company (I love the name, so apt for here). Richard Kovacs who owns and operates it is a really nice guy. Another English immigrant who now resides here in Canada. Very genuine, respectful and not a rip off merchant, himself and one of his colleagues, Paul, ( an experienced bass player who has toured with many bands). They got the job done on time, respectfully and all with a very pleasant demeanour.

It is stressful enough seeing all your worldly goods depart in the care of complete strangers. However these people make you feel very comfortable in your own space and are extremely reliable and very accommodating. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them. So get them booked and put the kettle on for a nice cup of tea to keep the thirst quenched and some cookies for an energy boost. You won't be disappointed.
