As we have just seen the introduction of changes to the mortgage borrowing rules and how it may effect the property markets, this interesting survey was conducted recently to gain some insight to the typical buyer in the current markets.
Many Realtors took part in the survey and the Vancouver Real Estate Board has just recently published their findings. So here are the highlights:
As a buyer it is nice to know how much you share in common with so many other people and understand your buying power, especially in competitive markets. As a seller it is invaluable to understand the buyer demographic and typical activity. Using this information wisely will help get your price right, apply the appropriate marketing and advertising and contribute to making the selling experience more rewarding and successful.
